Anywhere you go… Is a must ! You got to know the locals , their food , nightlife , commerce and lifestyle to have the full experience wherever you go.

Is the city safe?  What areas are not safe?

Is the safest area in Mexico, we can take a walk in downtown without fear of being robbed.  Although we are having local gangs fighting among them, they don’t attack tourists or locals , but we hear more often the news about killings.

What’s the weather like?

We have the perfect place for vacations, is hot and humid , which makes you jump into the pools or ocean and drink lots of margaritas without guilt.

Yes , actually… more than mexican pesos.

What are the best areas or districts to stay in the city?

Close to the beach , the 5th avenue is the touristic area and is one block away from the sea.

What’re your top 3 hotels and why?

According to budget. 1) economy-  cheap hotels next to 5th avenue ( koox , red queen ) , all inclusive- in playacar there are 14 hotels all inclusive , where you get all food and drinks and have the chance to see local fauna like coati, tsereque, deer , monkey , etc ( sandos caracol, ibero quetzal ), better hotels ( grand hyatt , panama jack )

Taxi is better, we don’t have Uber or any other app. Rental car not recommended (we drive like crazy here and police stops only tourists )
